Description: It is so difficult to describe this magnificent jacket. It is made by boutique designer Art of Cloth, which sadly closed a few years back. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner at an art show in Chicago- lovely woman. Anyhow, this is a rare piece I haven't seen before. It is tagged a Large, but since it's open in the front, could work for other sizes as well. With the front closed-edge to edge- the bust measures 42" all around. The length is ~26" and the sleeves ~23". It's made of a combination of three fabrics- the tweedy almost burned out look knit is a non-stretch poly/acrylic/wool/alpaca/nylon. It is a black and taupe material - the solid black is somewhat textured. The small hole in the photo can really only be seen from the inside- I actually have a hard time locating it- can easily be fixed with a stitch from the inside, and isn't noticeable from the outside. The draped collar is made from their hand dyed rayon/spandex jersey. The sleeves are a solid black heavier weight jersey. I think during the manufacturing process, some white paint made it's way to the inside of one of the sleeves. Isn't seen when worn. Last but not least- there are 2 side seam pockets!
