The fans paint looks to be original, though Im not certainplease refer to the pictures for a closer look. If it has been repainted, the restoration work was done to a high standard, as the paint appears to be spot-on with minor scuffs and scratches typical of its age. The fan is in working condition, though it is slightly wobbly on startup; however, it runs smoothly once it gets going. The oscillator also seems to function correctly. The most significant issue with this fan is that the cage is bent. I have not attempted to straighten it, leaving that to the winning bidder. The cord appears to be original, but the plug has some plastic chipped out of it and will need to be replaced. See pictures. If you can straighten the cage, you'll have a fantastic example of this 1934 GE oscillating fanan excellent addition to any collection or vintage decor setup.
