Description: Board game called Cavalcade, made by Selchow & Righter Co., New York, being their game No. 28. The cardboard box measures 15 1/2" x 8" x 1 1/4". There is a price tag on the side of the box that says it was from LS Ayers and cost 98 cents. The box is undated, but based on the graphics, the low product number and the low purchase price, my guess is that this is from the 1930's. Box has some edge wear and general wear on the top, bottom right, but certainly very presentable. Inside the lid of the box are the instructions. It is hard to tell what is missing from the game. There are all 6 of the horses used to play the horse racing and other horse related games. There is a large stack of money. There is a green felt undamaged playing board. There are 4 wooden hurdles. I know I am missing the dice (easily replaced). I looked at the other 2 identical games on ebay for parts and they are not complete but it is possible there are 5 wooden hurdles and there may be plastic discs (no mention in the instructions). All the items in the box are in extra fine condition-I have no problems to point out. Priced below the 2 other ebay sellers and I believe my game is in better condition and more complete.
