Description: 1972 . 12 x 27". Vintage poster is on heavy stock paper (along the lines of poster board). There are some mild creases as well as some light distress to the upper right hand (YOUR right hand) corner. There are also some tiny edge tears here and there. Poster has been curled from where it was stored for decades. Back of poster has yellowed and discolored . There is some small spots of residue that feels like very old adhesive - but it is dry and crumbling and seems easy to remove when scratched with a fingernail . These spots do NOT affect the FRONT because of the heavy stock paper. There are no pin or tack holes. Overall poster looks VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (if not excellent MINUS?) . With all that out of the way ; these are fairly hard to find and the production run could not have been more than a few hundred. This was SIGNED by the POSTER ARTIST in blue ballpoint pen. I cannot make out the name as well as I am not sure how well known he was OR what his association was to the Continental Bath House (a client or friend of the owner, is a good bet ... NYC in the 1970s was bursting with creative types ) . This came from the collection from a person that worked at the RENO SWEENEY club back in the early 1970s. (the collection also had posters of people like Ellen Greene and Cherry Vanilla as well as some ex-Warhol stars). Fell free to ask any questions. BONUS: SEE LAST PHOTO : I am throwing in a vintage AD from the Village Voice from 1973. Shipping is FREE. This will come rolled gently in a large thick uncrushable tube.
