Description: This old Maxwell House 1 pound tin measures 3.5"H x 5"W and has the "small cup" logo and an unusual elongated "M" on the Maxwell House name. According to the Tennessee State Museum, this tin dates from 1955-1965. It was opened by a key, is regular and states it was "For Percolated" on lid. Colors are good but there is a fair amount of scratching, which is not unusual for its age. Purchased about 20 years ago and has been on display in a smoke-free home.
