Description: Vintage Ladies Black Velvet Evening Clutch Purse + Coin Purse This is an evening bag that belonged to my Mother. Most likely 40's or 50's. She and my Dad attended many business dinners, as well as, dancing. After 1960, my father opened his own business and they no longer attended such events. The coin purse, I believe is silk. They are not a matched set, but my Mother always carried them together. The purse measures 10 inches in length, 5 1/2 inches in height, and 1/4 inch in depth. The coin purse measures 4 1/2 inches in length, 3 inches in height, and 1/8 inch in depth. There is a decorative silver piece, 1 1/2 inches in diameter near the clasp. The velvet and inside of the purse is in excellent condition. However, the metal edging around the top, has many imperfections where the metal appears pitted. I only ship to the USA.
