There is nothing like antique door hardware to showcase your decor and make your doors look special. Antique hardware made in the USA remains the "gold standard". Don't fall for that ugly, cheap-looking reproduction stuff you see in retail stores. These oldies were originally used with a mortise lock that was “mortised” (slipped) into the edge of the door once it was routed out by a carpenter, but a "tube latch" will work on more modern doors. I can usually provide either tube latch or mortise lock (with proper key), for additional cost. NEITHER IS INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING.
