Description: Vintage 1951Imperial Carnival Glass Bowl Iridescent Orange Marigold Pattern known as Open Rose or Lustre Rose or American Beauties or American Beauty Roses Imperial's Rose pattern was introduced around 1911 or 1912. Known to collectors today as Open Rose and Lustre Rose, these items are often confused with each other. This piece is from 1951. The truth is that they are both part of the same pattern range that was originally called "American Beauties" or "American Beauty Roses" by Imperial. All shapes in the pattern belong to the same design suite. This piece is in gorgeous condition. It measures 8" wide and 3" tall. It sits on three legs. This is a beauty in itself even if there is no food in it. You will LOVE. No chips No cracks As a seller I do my best to represent the product I am selling. I take numerous pictures and make them as clear as possible. To write a great description with accurate information, I research the item the best I can. With that in mind please remember that these items are vintage or antique which means they are 20 to 100+ years old. They have been around a long time and usually not sitting in a cupboard untouched. Do expect some wear and tear. If you want something brand new right out of a mold then you will need to shop elsewhere. I package very well. Insurance included in shipping.
