Description: Published in 1948 as part of the Everman's Library no 949 . hardback with dustwrapper .The book has clean boards which are sun faded through gaps in the dustwrapper . Pages are clean and without writings or signatures although they are toning a little and there are a couple of pages have creases to the bottom corner . Page edges are a little darkened . Dust wrapper looks to be signed in pencil to the top front inner fold by J . Woolf ( maybe ) The wrapper has edge rubs , chips , areas of loss and soiling and has now been repaired to the underside with professional archival tape .
