The Walking Dead 1-193 1st Print Complete Collection + Variants! Issue 1 CGC 9.8

Description: Up for sale is a massive Walking Dead comic collection. The collection includes first printings of all 193 issues, as well as over 100 variants / convention exclusives / 2nd printings, etc. There are 9 CGC graded books included in this lot including issue 1. Issues 2-6, 19, and 27 were all signed by Robert Kirkman at NYCC in 2015 and are "Signature Series" with the yellow CGC label. Grades noted below: Issue 1 - 9.8 (Black "Mature Readers" lettering on cover). The story is that they printed issues with the black lettering first, then changed to white lettering after based on readability. Some in the collector community consider the black lettering to be the "true" first print due to this, however please note that the CGC does not note this anywhere on the label - feel free to look into it and make your own decision - I just found it to be interesting. Issue 2 - 9.2Issue 3 - 9.8Issue 4 - 9.8Issue 5 - 9.4Issue 6 - 9.2Issue 19 - 9.8Issue 27 - 9.4Issue 193 (Convention Exclusive) - 9.8 As for condition/storage:All books have been bagged/boarded using Mylites2 mylar bags and Fullback Acid-Free boards and stored in a climate-controlled environment in short boxes - transferred to the black plastic short boxes seen in the photos a few years ago (these black boxes are not included in the sale). All books are flat, no curling, and in my opinion, in great condition. (Grading is subjective, so I will not put a "rating" on the collection as a whole.) If you want additional photos of any specific issues, I will be happy to provide them. **Local pickup is preferred due to dollar value and shipping weight, however I will ship. Comics will be shipped in cardboard short boxes, wrapped in packing material, and placed inside a larger shipping box. Based on weight, multiple packages will most likely be needed. Packages will be insured as well.
