Included are 42 VOLUMES of Harvard Classics including authors of Literature like William Shakespeare, philosophers like Voltaire and more. Volumes 1 through 7 and volume 11 are NOT INCLUDED (there are 50 total volumes in this series, you will receive the 42 volumes as shown in the images). These books are over 100 years old, and considering the age, have held up very well. I don't see signs of liquid damage the volumes (the pages are not welded together, there is not a strong musty odor to the volumes, etc) . The spines and bindings on most of the books I reviewed hold up well, although I took an image of one book where the binding was loose at certain pages. The covers have held up well, I only see a few volumes with stains on the covers. Most importantly, the illustrations and text appear legible, and I didn't see any hand writing in the inside of the front covers. I did not check every page of every book for condition. I show a sample of the condition in the image gallery. Again, these books have lasted a century and with some care may last another! Please review the images and ask any questions you may have.
