Description: Vintage 90s Shadowline negligee night gown in UNWORN deadstock condition with original sales tags with a bust at 42 inches with best fit for small to medium sizes today. This set is called peach and is a light pink-peach and has feminine lace with satin ribbon and floral embroidery trim detail. This night gown is unworn. This gown was a sales and inventory sample and was shown to customers to see quality and workmanship before they purchased. The salesman would have brought these pieces to show the quality and style for customers like big box stores to purchase for sale in their stores and also used in the factory as inventory control models. The nightgown was style 32501 and came in peach and lilac This is the peach color, which is a light pink-peach. The retail price of this was $48 for just the night gown in 1998, which is the equivalent of over $85 in today's monies. This gown was made in Morganton, North Carolina - made in the USA. The nightgown has a rounded boat neckline with peach and light lilac purple lace trim at yoke and sleeve area of gown. The front yoke has 2 fabric covered working buttons at the front with loop fabric closures. This is gathered under the yoke for a figure forgiving fit. At the center of the bodice area is a peach bow satin ribbon with floral trim detail. This has lettuce trim detail at sleeve ends and also at hemline. The gown has cap sleeves which are also lace. The size on this says small - but these are a very generous cut and should easily fit a modern small to medium today. Please see below to see if these will fit you. Nightgown: shoulder to shoulder is 15 1/4 inches Cap lace sleeves are 5 inches on outside side. Armhole is 24 inches bust to 42 inches waist to 54 inches hips to 62 inches length is 54 inches Tag inside say All Nylon Made in USA Size S (for small - but is forgiving fit - see measurements above) Machine wash This has the black and white Shadowline tag inside This also has the Satin Lustre tags attached. Satin Lustre was Shadowline's luxurious fabric of 100% nylon designed for bright lustre and pearlized glow with the touch of shimmer of the finest satin. Condition: Mint condition with no signs of wear or use. These were sale samples and have not been worn. The original sales tags are on this gown. It does not get any better than this. The nylon and workmanship is lovely. Feminine and demure.....and the light peach pink color with peach and lilac lace is divine! If you have not felt the lovely quality nylon used on the older lingerie pieces, you are in for a surprise. Beautiful drape and feel and quality that you do not find in today's pieces.
