Description: Rare vintage 18K diamond cut yellow gold w/ ruby stone size 7.5 ring. Weighs 1.85 grams. Excellent condition. This stunning diamond cut 18K (stamped 750) and Ruby /2.5 mm) stone ring is set in a filigree type raised setting. The thinnest part of the band is about 2.5 mm. The face of the ring is about 10.5 mm and the raised setting sits about 6mm high, drawing attention to this stunning ring. With the exception of the last 2 photos, my wife’s iPhone 3X zoom mode was used to enlarge the actual photos to show the detail. The red cabochon Ruby is a pretty red color. My wife’s iPhone does not do justice to the photos. The ring is in excellent condition. My wife received it as a gift but was too busy working to remember to wear it. She has since retired and doesn’t leave the house much and has no heirs to leave it to. Prior to mailing, all gold is verified using my Auracle AGT3 electronic gold tester. My Presidium gemstone tester verified the Ruby cabachon stone which I believe is a natural Ruby. It is securely set.
