The recordings are a mix of mistakes at the beginning, guide vocals, backing tracks, and alternate takes, as well as chatter and jokes (“That was you, Mr. Balsara!”) among the band members and occasional complaints. ), jokes, and even frustration. This includes the first official release of “Hangman,” written by Mercury/May/Taylor/Deacon. This song was a staple of Queen's early live shows, but was never recorded in the studio.
