We believe this was done by a listed artist named Peter Busch (1861- 1942) He was a Danish artist and you can find more information online of his work Invaluable . com has most of his paintings and information. The piece named Winter Landscape on Invaluable's website shows this same style of brushwork. I bought this at the Alameda Point and the history from what we heard was that this is of the San Francisco Bay Area. I grew up in the Bay Area and there is an area when you cross the bridge that looks very similar to this painting. The frame is together and not wobbly or anything but please see all the phots as there is normal wear from something of this age, on the painting is places and the frame. The size is approx. 13.5x10 inches without the frame and approx. 16.5x20 with the frame.
