Description: This is an original FIRST PRINTING poster for a Family Dog show in San Francisco in 1967, at the Avalon Ballroom. It is number FD-52 in the numbered series and designed by Rick Griffin. This is lot also includes the postcard. Although there are two printings of the poster bothj marked FD-52-1, this is the first printing which matches the postcard.Bands: Big Brother and yhe Holding Company,featuring Janis Joplin, Sir Douglas Quintet and Charles Lloyd.Venue: Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco Date March1967Condition: Poster is in excellent condition with a single small pinhole in two corners, and a tack hole in the upper left which has a tear from it to the edge.
