This is one of the prettiest and finest cake plates that I’ve had the pleasure to own. Finished in this luscious deep pink colour with an intricate gold detailed border it is a stunning piece! Now it is my belief that this is French probably from the Limoges area it could easily be English as well there are no makers marks on it. Regardless of its providence the workmanship is exceptional, measuring about 9 1/2 inches from handle to handle both pieces remain in very good condition with no chips cracks or flea bites, just a couple of tiny marks on the pink.
