This 6″ shear is hand ground of carbon steel, which is nickel plated, and can be used by lefties as easily as righthanders (if lefthanded, use the shears with the Nippes logo facing away from your inner palm). While nickel-plated shears cannot be exposed to steam-sterilization, they’re otherwise quite practical for any professional setting – just dry them thoroughly after use/cleaning, and store in a dry place.
