Description: Mastercrafters 911 Happy Time Clock Fully Restored "Back To The Future" #226 This clock was designed about 1970 by famed clock designer John L. Hancock who joined Mastercrafters in 1947. It was prominently displayed in the opening scene of the Back To The Future movie along with a variety of other clocks. Date of assembly is marked on the back with the initials of the assembler. R 2-73. Or February of 1973 The clock we are offering has been disassembled and cleaned. The notorious pinion gear failure on these clocks has been remedied with a newly designed pinion gear for long life. The motor and clock have been properly lubricated, assembled and test run for a minimum of 7 days. The clock is in excellent condition. It keeps excellent time as the man raises and lowers his arm and the red street light neon bulb flickers simulating a gas flame. 9 1/2" tall. 6" wide. 2" deep. Note: the flicker off the neon bulb is intentional, it is designed to simulate a gas flame. A beautiful vintage clock.
