Description: Maker: On the reverse of this lovely open vegetable bowl are two backstamps. The first is the green white ware mark of the classic maker Vignaud Frères, which produced high quality porcelain in Limoges between 1911 and 1938. A brown decorator's mark confirms that the set was produced for Gimbels, the iconic New York department store. Design: A red band with blue and yellow flowers and a cream colored band outline a center of pure white porcelain. Replacements.com has two listings that appear to be this pattern. One is called VIG1, the other VIG59. Size: The bowl is 10 1/8 inches long, 7 1/2 inches wide and 2 5/8 inches tall. It weighs 1 pound 7 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, stains, repairs, discoloration, crazing or wear. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
