The boards are straight, the cover design and spine are bright, the binding is square and firm and internally the text block is clean. The dust jacket is lightly soiled and edge worn but has a triangular chip to the upper edge which has a small tape mend to the rear. This example is a review copy with the original review slip as well as a promotional photograph of the author from Random House. While this title has always been uncommon, review copies border on being outright scarce. Thus a rather pleasing and scarce example of the beloved author’s second book.
