Exquisite Very Rare Cheryl Crawford/Crawford Manor BJD fashion doll CARMELLA 1/2

Description: This auction is for CARMELLA by I CHERYL CRAWFORD; an elegant 21” ball-jointed resin beauty. She is a 'KINDRED SPIRITS" by CHERYL CRAWFORD, of Crawford Manor Dolls, Made in USA. Carmella is #1 of only two world-wide and has her CofA plus her original box. Carmella is in excellent condition, having been carefully displayed in my smoke-free home. Her entire costume was sewn by hand, jewelry and accessories were designed and crafted by the Artist. Carmella is a 21" doll crafted from the finest translucent polyurethane resin which unlike vinyl and porcelain, warms to the touch. The doll's face sculpt features perfectly proportioned features, hands & feet are sculpted with elegant realistic fingers and toes. (I can speak for her toes, as I slipped off her shoes, but I’ve never removed her gloves. I have no doubt the fingers are perfect, however.) Her wig does need some TLC, which I’ll leave to someone more competent than I am. Carmella has realistic inset eyes, applied lashes, the afore-mentioned wig and a very detailed costume. Carmella will travel in her original box, carefully wrapped with all accessories still in their original cello. These accessories include a handbag, a mask, a fan, jewelry and a black feather. Please peruse all the pictures as they are part of the description. These are photos of the exact Carmella that you will receive. If the cost of shipping freaks you out - and it probably will, if you check USPS first - please check the prices via UPS and FedEx. In my experience, when it comes to larger boxes, those services usually cost less than USPS. Please understand I don't set the shipping prices for any of the major carriers - in fact, I can safely say they couldn't care less what I think - so tell them their shipping prices are too high, not me. I charge $5 handling which I will apply to fully insuring Carmella on her journey. If it costs more than that, I'll cover the difference. If you want to comparison shop shipping yourself, the box will weigh about 5 pounds and measure 24x10x6.
