Description: Eric Dolphy left this world early, as the result of a missed diagnosis in a foreign country. This album is from sessions about a month before his illness hospitalized him, and he shines on alto sax, flute, and bass clarinet. Great compositions by Dolphy as well as a Monk tune and a standard. One of the better collections of Dolphy's live work before his untimely passing.
