Super durable Ash Hardwood, finished in 5 coats of Matte Black. Most stands for sale, are made out of 1/2"-3/4". Mine are a full 13/16" or 15/16" thick, and for less money! ATTENTION: If you can dream it, I can craft it. I have access to any Hardwood you want. PLEASE send me a message, with what you want, and I will make them. I'm also not limited to just one size of speaker. I can make these for any speaker you may have. I'm sorry for the extra cost, but it takes me literally about 3 times as long to craft them. After crafting the stands, I cover the box joint cuts, with painters tape, while cutting to fit. After applying 5 coats of the matte black finish, which costs me $7.00 a can, and for these stands it takes 4 cans to finish, I then let them dry for 3-4 days to make sure there is no tackiness whatsoever. Then, after removing the tape, I use a small hobby brush, and paint inside the box joint cuts, with black ink. I do this, because if any paint gets in those box joint cuts, when you put the stands together, they become "Glued" together, and become extremely hard to take apart, in case you have to move them. It also will tear the finish up, if you do get them apart. Also, most likely, the stand pieces might break. So now I'm sure you understand the reason for the price. I've provided pictures of my process, in this ad. These stands are very large. USPS 1-3 Day priority box.
