The webbing is 1.5 inches wide. The buckle is 2-inches wide at the widest, but you can remove it and then reattach it when you get the belt through your pants loops. The tag says this belt is size 30 but it can be worn anywhere from size 28 to 36. At 28 inches the looped-over section is to the end of the Velcro hold down. At 36 inches you have 2 1/2 inches of the fold over Velcroed down. You could squeeze in an extra inch, or maybe 1.5 inches, if you have less of the end folded over onto the Velcro. You can go smaller too, but you’ll have some overhang of the Velcro.
