Description: Here is the complete 54 hardcover book set of the Britannica Great Books of the Western World. This is the 1984 edition from Encyclopedia Britannica with the books standing about 9.5 inches tall with gilt page edges on the tops. For the most part they are the tight binding like they haven't been read, and the covers are excellent except for one book, volume 12 has discoloring along the bottom of the cover from rubbing or something. When standing up they measure about 5 feet long so you'll need some shelf space. Please allow me a couple extra days for packaging as sometimes it takes a bit of time to package up book sets. The high bidder is to pay for half of the media rate postage, ebay calculates that for you, I have it set up to divide the shipping between two boxes because it's too heavy for one, so you will pay for one of the postage costs and I'll pay for the other.
