The surface must be cool to the touch. Do not apply any decal to a hot surface as it will stretch the vinyl and will not fit accurately. These decals are exact fit so please do not stretch Decals as your applying them. It is not easy to stretch so don't worry too much about it just be aware not to stretch. Install the red pieces one at a time starting from the pointed side first then work your way to the other end. When installing the bow tie take notice that there is a slight angle to the ends, the angled side up goes up.Meaning if you're looking at the decal the curvature should be going up and install them on the emblem as such. The reason for that is to compensate for the crease down the middle of the emblem. These are specifically designed to go with the flow installing the left side first and continuing to the right side. We are a customer service oriented small company. If you make a mistake and damage a decal while installing (very hard to do) we will gladly replace a piece or 2 just send us in a message a picture of the piece(s) you would like us to help you with and we will ship for free standard mail in the U.S. only, outside the U.S. we will require shipping costs.
