Fine antique ship……”At the Atlantic” Framed in its authentic early 20th century wood & green leather mat. The condition is very good. It is on a tile which has been mounted to the frame and is very secure. Please see the pictures also for condition and description. The back has three areas that describe it more. Looks like it was adapted from a painting by C F Sorensen according to the back. Originally purchased in San Bernardino County, California Carl Ove Julian Lund ( 1857-1936) Educated at royal art academy in 1875. Lund worked primarily with land and cityscapes from Scandinavia. Lund was influenced by Peter Mönsted concerning color use and lights. Lund also worked with porcelain while he painted and worked for the Royal porcelain fabric from 1872-1895 and worked with Herman A. Kähler from 1886-1888. Lund is known for his great ability to capture the Nordic charm and his scenes always shines with lights and charisma.
