Several Off-Road and Dual Sport Motorcycles with Fuel Injection Requires a Battery to Initiate the Fuel Pump in Order for the Motorcycle to Start. If the Battery has Low Voltage or Completely Goes Dead, your Motorcycle will not Start even with a Kick Start or Bumb Start. This Capacitor Stores Enough Internal Energy to Keep the Fuel Pump & Other Electronics Powered. You Will Have to Start the Motorcycle Using the Kick Start or Bump Start. (Many newer EFI Motorcycles do not have a Kick Starter.) How to Connection Capacitor: 1. Connect the Negative Black Capacitor Wire to the Negative Battery Terminal. 2.
