Hold down power button to turn on. Choose heat setting between 290F and 430F, and allow to heat in just three minutes. Set temperature to 290F for sensitive or very fine-textured hair. Set to 330F for color-treated or fine- to medium-textured hair. Set to 370F for medium-textured hair. Set to 410F for resistant, thick, or coarse-textured hair. Set to 430F for very resistant, thick, or coarse-textured hair. To straighten hair, separate hair into bottom and top sections. Place 2" section into teeth of brush and use other hand to create tension at the ends of hair. Slowly glide down to smooth hair. Repeat on entire head until hair is completely straight. To add lift and volume, separate hair into 2" thick sections where lift is desired. Overdirect the section by firmly holding ends of hair up and over the opposite side of head. Place tool underneath section at the root and hold for 10 to 15 seconds. Continue on all sections where more volume is desired.
