Description: An original 1942-1943 The Scottish Lowland Regiment white metal cap badge. The badge is St. Andrew's cross with a thistle flower in the center. A divided banner on the bottom of the cross is inscribed "Lowland Regiment". The loop fittings on the back are original and intact. 3.9 X 4.3 cm. Very good condition. The regiment was formed in January 1942 and was disbanded in August 1943. It was a holding regiment for soldiers in training for the three Lowland Scottish regiments. We ship worldwide.
