Determined to get something new on my site I used my phone for taking pictures. (what an adventure for someone my age!) Some of the pictures are under LED light, some are Flash. The phone is #14 Garnet Red, as per the AE Catalog. This AE 80 has been tested and is in working order and ready to make and receive calls. The dial has a firm feel and a steady return, the hook switch also firm. The ringer is the older style (original) ringer which is loud, but has an adjustable volume control on the bottom. The base cord terminates in a retrofit modular plug, ready for service. There are NO Major gouges, cracks, deep scratches etc. that I note. Just the usual knocks and dings expected with something used that is 50 y.o. Overall the phone looks pretty good. Please look the pictures over and try and determine if this phone is right for you and/or your project.
