Description: Antique Scottish Rite Masonic Costume Guard MC Lilley Double Headed Eagle Robe Inventory #18 This robe is perfect for collectors of freemason and Scottish rite temple memorabilia. This camp guard costume features an embroidered double beaded eagle emblem on the front, cross emblems on the cuff, and a detachable cape. Robe is in acceptable overall condition. There are numerous flaws throughout, possibly including but not limited to: Stains throughout Wear around the cuffs / collars Tears near some of the button holes Missing buttons Loose / missing pleats on the cape Odor from storage, will likely need to be dry cleaned or otherwise preserved Please see photos for specific details. I have multiple listings of this same costume in various conditions. This piece was acquired from a collection of regalia that was used by the Scottish Rite Temple of Fort Scott, Kansas. It was likely manufactured by the MC Lilley and Co. company from Columbus, Ohio. Interior label indicates that it was used to perform the 32nd or 17th Degree. I have over twenty of these costumes available. Please let me know if you are interested in multiple sets. This piece would make a great display piece, but would not be a candidate for other uses. Robe has a moderately strong “vintage” odor from storage
