Antique Banded WOOD TRUNK chest With Rivets storage box brown Arts & Crafts

Description: This antique trunk is being offered for sale in vintage condition as pictured and described. The pictures are intended as a large part of the description here. This trunk has been in my family for many decades. The trunk shows scattered surface wear and age consistent with a vintage piece such as scratches, chips, splits, staining etc. Additionally- while taking the photos I noticed- at least one missing rivet- others were replaced- one was replaced with a nail- another was replaced with a bigger rivet...some rivets are loose...etc...-some of the metal banding is missing in the back area of the top and also on the back area (this can be seen in picture 6)-The back hinges are both loose -there is not a "support" to hold the trunk in an open position-the side handles are missing-no key to the lock and have no idea if the lock would function-the inside paper is probably not original but it is decades old showing staining and other wear. -The approximate weight of the trunk is 15 pounds 12 0z. In short this piece shows age and wear! There may be other issues I have not mentioned so please enlarge the photos .... It's difficult to list something like this - near impossible to give you an itemized list of every issue. I did my best here to let you know anything I thought you should be aware of :) I do not know the trunks exact age. Not sure if it's 100 years or older- so an antique- or if it's technically considered vintage. The trunk is about 25 1/2 inches in width. The depth is around 15 inches. The trunk is 13 inches tall. This needs a thorough cleaning. Local pick up is welcome- The buyer needs to bring their own packing supplies- We will put this in a box and ship to you - utilizing the recycled packing materials we have on hand- If you want specific packing materials- such as bubble wrap-please let me know- - You can purchase them from amazon and send them to us or I can give you the information for our local UPS Store and you can purchase the packing materials you want and I will pick them up. I imagine the cost to ship this is going to be crazy high!! Please keep in mind- shipping is quoted directly from the carrier and varies by location. We are in New Jersey so if your in California- you are going to pay the highest shipping cost. Additionally- eBay takes 13 percent of the shipping charge you pay- so we are losing 13 percent on shipping for EVERY purchase.
