CONDITIONS. The wall box is in good condition having soft dimples here and there. Nothing which stands out. The two layers, brass over tin makes for a much more sturdy piece. Soft bending occurred along the bottom ridge which would meet a table top if stood upright. Nothing noticeable. The box lid is missing which does not take away from its decorative display. This box was made at a time when using candles was a daily event. Standing candles upright for display and use makes the lid a obstacle. Works well as a hanging letter or bill box.
