Description: Very elegant cut glass bowl from J. Hoare studio. I have been told that it is the Carolyn pattern though someone informed that it could be Eleanor.Features traditional 3 vesicas and hobstars inside a banded triangle it crosshatching, with a scalloped and edged rim. The base glass is clear. It measures about 8" wide. It has a broken tooth and some age related wear like flea bites/chips - see the photos. It is still a beautiful piece. It is not signed, as much as I could make out. Feel free to ask me any questions. KW: ABP American Brilliant Cut Glass period, crystal, vintage, antique. Walter Egginton, Meriden, Libbey, Hawkes.
