Description: This listing is for a SET OF THREE (3) NOS plastic gauge pointers (needles) for use in various GM vehicles produced in the 1970s-80s. These needles were purchased during a buyout from the original manufacturer many years ago. The remaining stock will be listed for sale (in lots of 3 pcs) here on eBay. When they're gone, they're gone. The length of the each needle measures one (1) inch. This is slightly longer than the short needles used with the 79 80 81 Camaro FUEL, VOLTS, and TEMP gauges; however, these needles are very compatible for use with these gauges. Please see example pics in this listing. Please note that this listing is for a SET OF THREE (3) short NOS plastic pointers. Buyers will need to use their existing pointer metal bases for installation. It's a fairly simple process to make the changeover. A box cutter can be used to pry the old plastic needle from the base. No need to remove the the base from the gauge itself. Once the old needle (pointer) has been removed, clean and dry the top surface of the needle base. Apply a very small amount of epoxy resin (or good quality super glue) with a toothpick to the top of the metal needle base. Insert the forward pin (located on the bottom of the pointer) into the rear hole of the needle base, and align (SEE PICS IN DESCRIPTION). Allow several minutes to dry before touching.
