Description: This offering is for twenty five 3” shallow (azalea), green plastic flowerpots. These sturdy pots are a size that is hard to find. They are handy for plants that are better suited to small pots such as young African violets, but they can have many other uses. Growers use them for growing on young violets before moving them to larger pots. Violets respond especially well to growing in shallow flowerpots as they become root-bound sooner which helps promote bloom production. Each of these pots measures 3 1/8 ” in diameter at the top rim and is 2 3/8” tall. The diameter of the base is 2 1/8”. There are 11 drainage holes in the bottom of each pot. Each pot will hold approximately 3/4 cup of your potting mix. The playing card and the ruler in the photo are for size comparison and are not part of the offering.
