Description: 1967 CHEVY DEALER ADVERTISING PLATES SIGN SS CAMARO CHEVELLE CORVETTE 67 LOT X5 WHAT ARE THESE???? I was "picking" at a local old guys place a few years ago and found these..... Here is a lot of five, 55+ year old dealership plastic plates that says 67 Chevrolets.... Beautifully New-Totally You. Fries Chevrolet Phone 788-4216 Wallace Michigan. 4 are a teal/blue and one is white. I was told these were shoe shiners with a sponge on the bottom with the top plate for advertising! A couple have warp and one is cracked by the bowtie on the right side. (see pics) What do you call these? A plate, plaque, small sign???? Not sure what their original intent was? UPDATE! Someone was kind enough to let me know these started life as a "Shoe Polish Brush" advertising local car dealers! Few if ANY are out there! (hence why the back side looks like it does) Great to display with your Chevy Chevelle, Corvette, Impala, SS, Biscayne, Station Wagon, 4-door, convertible, Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Nova, pickup truck, C10. C20, Suburban, GMC, etc. I dont know what this stuff is or what you call it. I looked around on Ebay and as well as google and couldnt find anything like them. Being plastic, I doubt they would have been a dealer tag they would have mounted on the trunk. Good to have on hand if you own or restore cars like these.
