A wellexecuted facsimile of the now tremendously expensive first edition of which only 6,000 copies were printed, published on 19th December 1843 of Dickens' classic festive fable, in which Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas past, present, and 'yet to come'. This facsimile edition was first published in 1922, in aid of the funds of the National Book Trade Provident Society, and contains an introduction by G. K. Chesterton and preface by Dickens scholar B W.
