Description: Crystal Black Shrimp, also known as CBS. These shrimp are sub adults, measuring around half an inch in size. They belong to the Caridina genus and are a captivating black mutation of wild bee shrimp. Many enthusiasts simply refer to them as CBS. These shrimp are an excellent entry point from Neocaridina to Caridina for hobbyists. While they thrive in lower pH conditions, they can tolerate slightly alkaline conditions (pH above 7). Shrimp will be chosen at random, with each measuring approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch in size and representing a mix of sexes and grades. It is strongly advised to employ a drip acclimation process when introducing shrimp to a new environment. This method aids in the shrimp's adjustment to their new surroundings and minimizes stress.
