Description: Vintage Original 10"14" Government Issued Fallout Shelter Sign with shipping carton - NOS, New old Stock showing imperfections from age. The cardboard shipping carton is in fair condition, and 1 piece of the original packing paper is included. I only have a few of these boxes available. This is your chance to own a real piece of American history. This is a new old stock sign from the 1950's - 1960's. I purchased a small stash of these from an old warehouse. The sign is made of galvanized steel. It was screen printed the old-fashioned way black print first and then the reflective yellow over that. Measures 10"x14" and weighs 12 oz. Printed at the bottom of the sign in small print, it says, "DOD FS NO.2 (NOT TO BE REPRODUCED OR USED WITHOUT DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE PERMISSION". It has 4 small mounting holes, one in each corner. It was never mounted but is slightly imperfect. Made in Coshocton, Ohio, USA by ALFRAY PRODUCTS, INC.
